I believe that understanding of the role nutrition plays in healthy living is the key to success. I help my clients acquire the ability to make healthy food choices for life. Together we build a strong foundation, and continue to add new skills at each visit until he or she feels confident in their understanding of nutrition.
I am a registered dietitian and certified diabetes care and education specialist. Before working in private practice nutrition, I worked at Community Servings in Jamaica Plain helping to provide nutrition services and meals to chronically ill patients and at NewBridge on the Charles in their inpatient rehab unit. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Communications from Northwestern University and then a nutrition degree from Simmons College in Boston. I also received my Masters in Nutrition Education at Framingham State College.
When I’m not working I love to cook and spend time with my family. I’m also a theater fanatic and you are likely to find me hunting down tickets to the next musical I’m planning to see.
