Nutrition Counseling

Nutrition Counseling

Home / Nutrition Counseling

We offer both in-office and telehealth visits. Our virtual visits are done via our  HIPAA compliant video chat.

Nutritional Counseling

Our visits will be productive, yet relaxed. We want our clients to feel like they are having a conversation with a friend – a sharing of concerns and goals. Together we will come up with a realistic plan of action, setting attainable nutrition, exercise and behavioral goals at each visit. Recommendations are always individualized to the clients food preferences and lifestyle. The relaxed tone of the consult will both empower and motivate you to establish new habits, allowing you to define and attain success!

  • Set mutually defined goals for nutrition, exercise & behavior change.
  • Educate you on healthy foods choices, food labels, behavioral changes as needed.
  • Provide individualized solutions—focused nutrition plan, shopping lists, and other appropriate handouts.
  • Educate you on diabetes self management, including blood sugar testing, medications and preventative behaviors to help reduce the risk of complications & empower you to take control of this disease.

Follow up sessions are greatly encouraged for most clients, as accountability is an important part of behavior change. The frequency of follow up visits varies per client and will be discussed during the visit.
